Description: 

The Beginner’s Hairstyling course has been designed for people with little or no hairstyling experience. Suitable for students with a general interest in styling or for makeup artists to add to their existing skill set.

On completion, students will have an understanding of hair types and products; and will be able to create up-dos, bridal buns, big hair and catwalk looks. This knowledge will enable you to support a senior session stylist, offer simple hairstyling to your makeup service i.e. you will be able to offer your clients an all-in-one service meaning more money for you and the likelihood of getting the job over other makeup artists; create stunning hairstyles on you and your friends. 

Your expert tutor will cover different ways of prepping the hair, whether it be tonging long, beautiful curls, using headed rollers and/or back-combing to create volume. 

The Beginners Hairstyling course costs £399 and includes:

• 1 day expert training in small groups of no more than 4
• A professional hairstyling kit* (including medium GHD, Training head and clamp, Blowdryer 2000w, comb set, brush comb and paddle brush)
• Use of all materials at MINK (excluding products)
• Work experience opportunities
