One thing that the Royal Wedding has done is to create an air of Romance across the country. The event forces one to ask oneself some really searching questions. “Why hasn’t that happened to me?”, “Will it ever be me?”, “When will it be my turn?”, “Will I ever find and marry my prince charming?”. Shoot, the hardest question of the lot, “Will I ever get married?”

MINK provided the makeup for this year’s Mahogany Bridal show and what a show we put on! The makeup look for the show was healthy glowing skin, blue and green hues on the eyes and luscious lips in different shades of pink and red. The glow to the skin was achieved using IMAN’s Clay and Sand bronzers, MACs Mineralize skin finish natural powder and shimmery blushing powders like the luxury blush colour “Peace” by Iman which is now one of our makeup favourites. The rich lip colours were also achieved using a range of lip colours from IMANs impressive line.

Funmi owns MINK London, a make-up artist management company that provides make-up services for the fashion, entertainment and bridal industries and a private makeup school for aspiring make-up artists.

The one feature that can be altered most dramatically are the eyebrows. Even a subtle shape change in definition can alter the mood of the face. A pair of perfectly shaped eyebrows can do more for your face than almost any cosmetic. By correctly shaping and colouring eye brows eyes can appear larger and the face slimmer and more shapely. A good set of brows will draw attention to the eyes.
