Amongst all the glamour and fabulousness it’s easy to miss Bey’s new super trendy eye-brows. She’s gone and bleached them. Not surprisingly, as Bey is one of the trendiest entertainers around, and the bleached eyebrow has been very hot this season.

Bleached eyebrows were paired with pink eyes at Valentino.
Bleached eye brows were also seen at Nina Ricci’s runway show where they were teamed up with a mega-dose of glamorous fuchsia eye colour.
It takes a little derring-do to pull off the bleached eyebrows trend, but as a make-up artist it’s worth getting to grips with how to achieve this look because it looks as if it’s here to stay, for the summer at least. There is no other treatment that will make eyes stand out more than this.
This is the MINK guide to bleaching eyebrows SAFELY!
Bleaching the brows is a straightforward process, but should be carried out with caution. Overusing the bleach can seriously weaken the hair, so it is best to test the effect of the bleach by removing a bit of the bleach and testing the colour and texture underneath at regular intervals during the process.
- Carry out a patch test!
- Clean the area
- Mix the bleach following the manufacturer’s instructions carefully
- Apply the bleach to both brows, working quickly and carefully. Do not forget to bleach the finer hairs around the eyebrows or these will end up looking more obvious
- Every few moments check the effect of the bleach and colour change
- When the desired effect is attained, remove the bleach thoroughly using damp cotton pads
- Apply a mild moisturiser (this will help to recondition the hair).
- Voila Perfectly Bleached Brows
