Importance of Learning!!!

I’ve been a makeup artist for the past 5 years and one of the things that I feel sets me apart is my willingness to learn. Sometimes we think we know it all, but I can assure you that you can never know it all. To be the best you need to have a willingness to learn all you can, while you can. How else will you grow!

I think making an investment in ones own growth not only sets you apart from the competition, but also prepares you for the opportunties that lie ahead.

I read this quote today and instantly feel in love with it because it completely encapsulates everything that I believe in about learning.

Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

Benjamin Franklin

Its easy for me because secretly I’m a nerd, who loves nothing more than to read a book and to fill my head with things I didn’t know before. But even if you are not a book worm you can learn in lots of other ways, vocational courses, practical hands-on courses, learning from the very best.

This week we have teamed up with some very notible names in the world of makeup (Iman, Ellis Faas and Illamasqua) to bring you the beauty of makeup experience with celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine who is arguably THE BEST MAKEUP ARTIST FOR WOMEN OF COLOUR.

If you are a serious makeup artist or you are serious about improving your personal look overall then make sure you book a space on the upcoming seminar.

You could easily spend £75 on products that you don’t or hardly ever use, but spend this on a life long lesson that will stand you in good stead even when you don’t happen to have your favourite products.

Beauty is in the preparation! That is one of my quotes, and I hope it catches on.
